The Spartan Scientific Series 3585 is a 2 way 2 position Solenoid Pilot Valve that is high in flow and small in size. The valve is designed using the latest design technologies and materials. The 3585 has the highest Cv per weight of all valves in class. The valve uses the trusted 3000 Series operator and coil combination which have been proven to millions of trouble free cycles. The valve controls fluids through a ½” (12.5 mm) orifice in either normally open or normally closed configurations. Unique to this valve is the normally open version which utilizes an internal flow path eliminating the external flow tube on other normally open valves. The polymer body is media compatible and available in ¼”, 3/8″ and ½” NPT/BSP sizes and features internal stainless port rings that ensure against port breakage during installation. The normally closed version is available with a turn locking override. The coil is a low wattage 30 mm wide coil made to use either DIN 43650 form A connectors or flying lead styles. FKM (Viton), EPDM and Buna N (Nitrile) are standard elastomers while the body is made of Nylon and Ryton. The solenoid operators are either brass /stainless or stainless/stainless. Typical applications include both hot and cold water, condensate drainage, inert gas, and sprinkler systems.

Spartan Scientific introduces Series 38KRE & 38KRI Solenoid Operators

Spartan Scientific’s Series 38KRE and 38KRI miniature solenoid operator pilot assemblies are specially designed to control inert gases and liquids. Easily mounted to a flat manifold surface, these 2-way and 3-way solenoid pilot operator assemblies feature fully molded coil assemblies, available in either spaded or flying lead configurations, and standard turn locking manual override on the valve body. Two provided screws quickly assemble the 38KRE and 38KRI to a manifold block and both feature the DIN 43650 B Industrial Standard quick connect interface.

In addition, the 38KRI valve has an internally piloted exhaust which allows the normally open version to have all of the ports contained within the valve body, making the assembly more economical. The 38KRE and 38KRI operate in a pressure range of 0 to 150 psi, a temperature range of -10° to +50°C and have a response time of 8 to 15ms. The 38KRE has orifice sizes of 1.2 and 1.5mms and the 38KRI orifice sizes are 1.2, 1.4, and 1.6mms with exhaust orifice sizes 1.4 and 1.6mms.

Spartan Scientific Series APV-30 Is A Rugged Full Featured, Pneumatically Piloted Ball Valve

The Spartan Scientific Series APV-30 is a rugged full featured, pneumatically piloted ball valve. The unit is available in normally open, normally closed or double acting versions. With sizes from 1/2″ to 2″ NPT or BSP, the APV-30 will flow up to 85 gpm. The unit is compact as compared to competitive rack and pinion or motorized ball valves and comes standard with an ON-OFF indicator. The APV-30 features PTFE ball valve sealing using Chrome plated Brass or 316 Stainless balls. The valve body materials are Nickel plated Brass and 316 Stainless. Also available is a three way solenoid pilot valve, (Spartan Series 3823) which may be added to operate the APV-30.

Spartan Scientific Series 35KR 2-Way, 2-Position Solenoid Valve Is A Variation On The Popular 3500 Series

The Spartan Scientific Series 35KR 2-way, 2-position solenoid valve is a variation on the popular 3500 Series valves which feature miniaturized size vs. flow rate while allowing the user to manifold multiple outlets with one inlet. The 35KR design features the direct pilot design which controls zero to 150 PSI in the all plastic version and 0 to 230 in the Brass Plastic version. The intermediate orifice plate design is the key to the 35KR in that it includes all the details of careful orifice design and creates a simple sealing pattern which can be mounted to intergrated equipment and complex manifolds with simple mounting screws. The mounting style reduces leak points and numbers of connections. The 12mm orifice promotes full flow while the valve body, at only 1.5 inches wide, can be gang mounted to give impressively small envelope packages with many outputs. Spartan Scientific Series 3505 is A 2-Way, 2-Position, Normally Closed Or Normally Open Valve For The Control Of Air, Oil Or Water

The Spartan Scientific Series 3505 is a 2-way, 2-position, normally closed or normally open valve for the control of air, oil, water, or media that is compatible with valve materials of manufacture. The valve features a zero minimum pressure differential while still boasting a full flow 1/2″ orifice. Available in 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ NPT, the 3505 can handle pressures to 230 psi. The encapsulated coil construction ensures that the valve functions well under long periods of energization (100% duty), as well as providing a high degree of environmental protection (NEMA 4) when used with a Spartan Connector or in flying lead version. The inner valve functions as a direct assist using a flat diaphragm and orifice plate. Pressure differentials shift the valve to full open or full closed. A push, non-locking manual override is standard.
